Does anyone add zinc or other additives to their Rotella T4 as well?
When I was looking after Mitsubishi diesels that ran 125kW to 200kW generators, we used straight T4 until they hit 40k hrs and then retired them. Although they were amazing engines, it was prohibitively expensive to rebuild them. Oil was tested every oil change (remote heli ski lodges, so absolutely no failures during winter operation)

Additives, witchs brews, snake oil...now that's a totally different conversation. Might be interesting to see what folk have used and seen over the years. BITOG is a good site for info. I'll start a thread in the main CC forum so this buy-sell-trade thread does not get sidetracked.

Anyone need tow straps? My work seems to be doing a purge of rigging. They are all in really good shape, to good of shape for me to just stand by as they chuck them into the bin. I have 2-30ft, 2-24ft and I think a couple 20ft still at work but I will post more if they come up. They are rated at 8800 working load limit, so 5x breaking strength at 44,000lb. $20 each or beer . I am located in Maple Ridge. I would say I can bring them to a cruiser meeting but who knows when Covid will allow that to happen again.

Got a few parts laying around that I keep tripping over.

-Factory fj80 tranny and transfer case skid plates
-drivers side rear 80 series bumper plastic
-80 series radius arm drop brackets, an alternative to camber bushings. Good for 3"-6" lift range to bring your alignment back.
-jdm 3" lift coils. Seem like heavy front, med rear.
-set of older ome shocks that were with the jdm lift. Seem to be alright. I was still using them until I went an inch higher and needed longer ones.

Money, beer, cruiser parts etc. Just looking to get them out of my way. Make me an offer. Located in maple ridge

Well, I like that you like that I will look after the 60 series parts manual you compiled, but not so sure I like that you're gonzoing away. However, I do believe we'll be making a trip your way this summer. Would be great to catch up and explore with you and your family, and Mr Wilson. I heard of this great campsite...
