Help! My Hazard light button, Rear Air, Window Defrost, Side mirror defrost buttons do not illuminate. All the other buttons do. Is there a fuse I can check or is it the light burned out? if so, am I able to replace them?

Did they just all go out at once?

These have bulbs on the backside that can be replaced. You need to pull the cover off and pull the unit out so you can pull and replace bulbs.

This will get you on the right track

Thank you! I solves the Hazard switch bulb problem. Anyone know the Part number for the bulbs behind the REAR AIR, REAR DEFROST, HEATED MIRROR buttons? The bulbs behind the buttons in the image

Sadly no P/N for those. A close match to that bulb is a #7152 T1 5V bulb. I say close because it’s a hair brighter than the other green lamps. It could also be a #680 bulb. Even though there are only 3 active buttons you need 4 bulbs for the board.

You have to pull that sub assembly off the tape deck portion of the Infotainment unit, then disassemble it further to remove the tiny bulb sockets. Then you remove the green bulb caps and unwind the wire leads from the sockets.

Replace with new bulbs, trim wire leads, install caps, slide sockets back on, then reassemble the button sub-assembly, etc/etc.

There really ain't a part number for these bulbs, eh? Poking through PartSouq schematic diagrams and finding nothing for these. Sounds like an annoying deep dive to get them back on too.

I can confirm it is a #680 bulb like I mentioned above. The brightness is a perfect match to the other infotainment bulbs and the rubber caps fit perfect.

These bulbs behind the 3 buttons are not sold separately by Toyota, but can easily be replaced with some patience.

Thanks, this light ended up kicking back on after a few fist bumps to this area of my dash.

Going through and getting all interior lights back up and operational. Will save this thread for future reference when these lights without official Toyota part numbers decide to give up.

The old links are no longer working, but I found this on the rainforest store.

Did you use these just for those buttons (mirror defrost, rear ac, defrost) or were they also used anywhere else?

Thanks for the tip on the links. I should update to something more reliable.

I have not compared yet, but I bet the #680 bulb would work for the other socketed bulbs in the dash/console switches. Namely: heated seats, rear windows, pwr/2nd switch, ahc switch.

When I get a little time to compare bulbs I can build a list. I have a pile of the little round sockets from burnt bulbs, as well as brand new pieces from Mr T.

You'd be the belle of the ball if you put together a piece by piece shopping list. I'd buy you a beer!

I'm currently in the process of replacing my interior bulbs on my 04 LX. My CDL and Antenna lights work, but the Mirror Heater, Rear AC, and Rear Defrost don't.

I bought 10 of the 680 bulbs through DigiKey as Amazon shows out of stock. I haven't tested the voltage at the board to confirm if the 5v bulb is actually the right choice, but I would say most likely for those board mounted ones. The twist in style bulbs on the switches are the same size, but those switches see full battery voltage at the contacts, so you'd probably want to go with a 12-14v T-1 for replacing those.

I just ordered a whole bunch of new bulbs from Toyota as I'm not particularly in love with the LED look. So I'll have plenty of bases left over that I might set up as spares.
