On to the tailgate. Dont mind the latch, it's just a cheapy I used to keep the tailgate closed while in the garage.

Here is the roof rack for the roof top tent. I have a Tepui Gran Sabana that's going on this trailer and is the reason the box had to be the size it is.

I wanted to make the most of the fenders so I decided to go with flat fenders.

I squared off the back of the fender but i'm debating 45*ing the corner so I'm not running into it.

The side skins. I'll come back and add 2x2 across the center of the sides where the skins meet the fender.

I'm hoping to get back at it this week. I just got back from Alaska so I've been recovering from that amazing trip. I did get some parts in the mail while I was gone though.

Burley indeed. What's your weight target for that beast?

I'm hoping it's lighter than it looks. 75% is 0.083 wall steel. As far as weight goes it should be similar or less than a converted military trailer of the same size.

Looks really nice, but track looks a little wide. I think the track width is around 62"-63" for 80 series. If the two track widths are not the same, there will be issues travelling off-road.

You're right, it is to wide. At the time when I bought the axle it was the narrowest #3500 electric brake axle dexter makes. The plan is to narrow the axle nearly 8 inches. It's a straight axle with camber and toe built into the spindle so narrowing it shouldn't be an issue. With 4 inches out of each side, it will bring the track width down to 66 inches, only around 1.5 inches wider on each side than the 80's.

Are you going to produce anymore? If so I'm interested

Thanks for the interest. I do plan on building more. This first one is a prototype to help figure out what works and what doesn't. Once it's done I can figure out what a fair price point is on them. After that I'll start on a small run, maybe 2 or 3 at first as more interest hopefully builds.
So with that, once I have a price, If you're still interested I'll be more than happy to customize one for you, height, length, width or bolt pattern.

why do you have a double horizontal top?

I got the de-sta-co 2,000lbs latches installed. I used nutserts to be able to bolt them to the body and lid. I'm really happy with the quality of these latches.
