Ok, so maybe it's been a couple months since I installed them... but I thought I would post up some pictures. I actually bought them before I went out to Overland ExpoWest.

I like the way flares look and I wanted sliders that still maintained a "factory" look while still being useful as a step. Simple bolt on, installation only took about 45 minutes.

Build, powder coating, and shipping are all top notch.
Mike was great talking to and I always knew where the sliders were in production.

So if you are looking for something that looks "factory stock" and still provides protection, give Mike a call.

I've always wondered about the allure of these; if you need sliders, you're likely not going to want those cute little mud flaps hanging off of your truck. The flaps push right into the flares which causes them to rip off.
In the looks department, they're nice, but not functional.

I modeled mine off these, these were my favorites prior to my build. I have full front flaps on mine and simply remove them prior to hitting the trails. For daily. The flaps are worth their weight in gold, only three bolt-screws each prior to offroad. Just keep a 10mm wrench in the glove box.

Now you made me rethink tightening the bolts on those mud flaps. Mine are loose, maybe it's better this way.
I don't have the BIOR sliders, but these are the ones I want to get. Kids and parents will appreciate them better. Wife too.

Mike's the man, super to deal with and great products. I have his skid plate on my rig and just love it!

They're a great idea and they make getting into the truck so much easier, but I'd really rethink the mud flaps altogether. Running 35's on the TJM HD lift (3"), the first time the mudflap touched a rock my flares went flying. I'm just trying to relate my experience so that those that want to keep their flares don't make the same mistake.

I'll say this, before mine, my (at the time) 6 year old had trouble getting in and out and my wife complained to no end, especially if wearing a skirt or dress. After, my 4 year old had no trouble getting in or out and my wife no longer grumbled. Plus they could do this (if you look close, you'll see a fair amount if paint missing from the sliders):

Well with this being a daily driver I really like how the step slider interacts with that front mud flap. They just fit over it and gives it a really nice factory stock clean look from the slide. It is pretty obvious that if you come down hard on them, they are just going to push up into the fender flares and pop them off. Like it was mentioned already, just remove them with the 3 10mm screws and you are good to go. Reattach when you get off the trail.

I also considered just cutting off the bottom of them, so that from the side you have the clean look, but the underneath would be hitting the slider if you came down on a rock. I outlined in RED kind of what I am talking about..

Either way, I have had a lot of passengers already compliment me on how it's nice to be able to use them as steps to get in. It really makes a huge difference in the day to day driving of it. It's not a rock crawler with 37s... its a dd with 33s and I'm very happy with it right now ;)

Those are my favorite. I SO wish he could get some for the 93-94 years and figure out the cat issue.

They look great, do you think that 3" x 6" would fit better so you wouldn't need or want to trim the plastic? I ask because I was thinking about building a set like this. Elegant yet functional.

Seems like a practical solution. Do you have a lift on the truck? It looks like about 2-3", but can't tell for sure. Thanks in advance.

@cbpeck If you are asking me.. Yes I have an OME 2.5" lift, full heavy with 30mm Man-A-Free front spacers.

@superjuice 3" would not fit. 2-1/2" might fit... but that would be cutting it close.
Here is a picture that shows the thickness.

Awesome, thank you!

Leave the plastic as is. It won't look "finished" if you chop it. Remove it for the trails, is my advice.

Any pics of these sliders without the mud flaps? Are the leading and trailing edges angled or square?

The front is square exactly like the rear.

How is the depth (from the vehicle) in comparison to the OEM steps? At 6'5" I can step out no problem, but it's killing the side of my seat. The OEM steps seem a bit narrow for anything more than my heel. Just curious how these compare.
