I'm depressed as hell that I have to put my 80 up for sale but here we go:
It has 100,650 original miles. Located in Socal and may be willing to ship this across the country for the right deal. Been in socal it's entire life and spent many of it's early maintenance days at Lexus of Hollywood. On craigslist I'm asking $14,500. I put that price up with some negotiable space built in. I don't want to haggle the mud members. You guys have been too good to me. I am asking $12,500. That is NOT a negotiable price. That price includes some of my trail gear but not all. Those items can be negotiated for an adjusted price. My trail gear includes; my Rough Country 9.5k winch with universal receiver mount, Lizard recovery straps, 30 ton tow straps, Hi-lift jack, snatch block, snow chains for all 4 corners, D-shackles, hand held CB radio, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, extra drive shafts, and tire repair kit for the trail. This 80 has been maintained and loved extremely well it's entire life. I have a pile of receipts for maintainence and mods for this rig. Has the factory lockers. Interior and exterior are in excellent condition. The factory original paint looks amazing. (been garaged it's entire life) There quite a few new OEM parts that have been put into this over the last year. New AC compressor, condenser core, shrader valve and dryer canister. New wires, plugs, cap, and rotors. Brakes were done less then 5,000 miles ago. All new belts, 02 sensors, and somewhat new (18 months ago) starter. New fan clutch, Entire EGR system gone through will all new parts (got rid of the P0410 code). Battery was replaced a few weeks ago. Birfs were rebuilt about 2 years ago and still look great. Front and rear diffs, tranny, and tcase fluids were all recently done with receipts to prove it. The pwer steering fluid and brake fluid is also new. I basically baselined the entire rig for plans of keeping this long term. Then we had a 3rd kid and the plans had to change. Head gasket has not been done but with the low miles it would be WAY too soon for that PM. This rig is ready to go. No maintenance or mods need to be done to hit the trails and drive it daily. The main focus for this particular build was weight. The last few Jeeps I built just got stupid heavy by the time I was done. The fuel economy went down the toilet. This build was about trimming the fat and building strong but light armor. At this point this rig is 40lbs lighter than stock. Fuel economy is very close to the factory range. Good luck finder a built 80 that is this clean with this low miles. It took me 2 years to find this beauty and I'm devastated that I have to sell it.
Mods:
OME lift (Heavies up front w/ 30mm spacers and Mediums out back w/ 30mm spacers) Nets about 3.75" of total lift and sits very level
OME steering stabilizer
OME nitrocharger shocks
315/75/16 (34.5" tire) Mickey Thompson Baja Claw
Full size Toyo AT spare
RRO sliders with quite a bit of custom reinforcing
MAF 4" extended brake lines
MAF 3" control arm drop brackets (handles WAY better than the caster correction bushing that originally came with the lift)
MAF Extended sway bar brackets
3" extended bumpstops front and rear
3" extended shock mounts to allow the OME nitrochargers to have the proper flex.
CDL mod on the dash
LED light conversion for regular head lights (they are quite a bit brighter than the factory lights)
Custom front and rear tube bumpers
LSPV has been adjusted to account for the lift
Front and Rear double cup holders installed
There are probably a few more things, but that is what is coming to mind right now. The receipts will show the complete list of mods.
