Last step was to remove the lettering tape to revieal the silver base and apply a few coats of clear...really digging how this valve cover has turned out.

My valve cover arrived today and it looks even better in person. I am really happy with how this came out.

I picked up my manifolds, heat shields, J-pipe and down-pipe from my local coater. The ceramic coating came out pretty nice...I really dig the charcoal color of the heat shields.

Now these were a total PIA to source, but I got my hands on a full set of belt mouldings for inner and outer Front and rear windows and outer rear quarters.

Also picked up a rear windshield weather seal to go along with the front that @Onur sent me a few years back and has been collecting dust on the shelf.

You’ll have to let us know what differences you notice between the Stage 4 vs Stage 5 Slinkys!

Other than Darren, you’re probably the only one to have both in your garage to compare back to back. Is that the first/only Stage 5 in the US?

If you don't mind, how much does that valve cover cost all done up. I would like to help start a trend :)

I look forward to comparing apples to slightly better apples. Yes this is the 1st set of Slinky Stage 5 shocks in the states.

Rick Alderson at Creative Custom Finishing will hook you up. His number is (909)257-9720.

I conferred with Rick today about posting his prices. He was comfortable with me putting out what he charged me for the work. $120 for the refinishing (blasting, primer, silver base, candy red base, hydrographic, clear). The shipping for me from UT to CA was $15 and the return shipping as $22.

I feel like Rick could charge a lot more for the quality of his work.
