Jose and UnderDawg, are you using 110V or 220V welders? I'm shopping around and a 220 is almost double the price.

I'm using 110v (Hobart 140 on C25 gas). Can do up to 1/4" plate with more than one pass so it should serve most of my needs.

What about using the factory mounting points for the rack? Is there a reason no one uses these?

It has been done. I forget the make of rack but I've seen it.

Where you located here in the grand state of Ohio?

Picked up the racks from powder and the finish is excellent have a look

I couldn't be more happy with the work Dave @ Medina Powder Coating did. His guys are very knowledgeable and helpful.
These are the best deals around for a solid roof rack. It will support plenty of cargo and bodies if needed (RTT).

Thanks guys and gals for your continued support.

Not sure if you be interested, or if it would even be worth your time, but what would it cost me to have you bend the pipe and send me a "kit", so to say?

Kind of like a "ready to weld" kit like 4x4 labs does with their rear bumper.

What size rack?
