Not long now until Christmas
Talked to the guys at the tranny place on pinhook last wee. They need a gas tank sending unit for a plastic aftermarket tank they put in the the tan 78 they have in the yard. I'm not sure if its and aftermarket plastic tank that goes back in the factory location or what. I don't have time but if any of you stumble accross one at Spectre, Man-fre or any of the other shops that have one for a plastic aftermarket tank that would go under the seat let me know or let them know. May need to print it and bring it to them, and or go see what tank they are using. I told him I was tired of seeing it out in the weather lets get it fixed. The mechanic I spoke with sounded like he really wanted to finish it.

Y'all should hear the mess that's at Ross's Tire on Kaliste Saloom. 60 series, Nissan rear end in pieces and the mechanic has it narrowed down to 7 1980's era rear ends, but not exactly sure which one and can't order the right gears until he figures it out.

Not yet, I sent him some link to a couple shops but don't know if he used them or not. I plan to pass by to take a look and shoot a pic in my free time. My problem is finding free time right now.

Well, I was going to donate a sending unit to the tan 40 at the tranny shop, but of course, CCOT aftermarket strikes again. It came with my brand new tank. I DIDN'T use it...it's still brand new it the box...well just for the heck of it, I tested it with a meter, and it's way off...POS
....anyway, I said this before, and I'll say it again (and again)...Any aftmarket parts I have New or used, you can have....that include the corner reflectors, mirror ends, sending unit, whatever you want.

Agree, I'll throw so of my CCOT stuff in there as well. We'll start a pile and sell it off here on MUD for cheap.

The alternator is GM, which is quite nice and awesome compared to Aftermarket Taiwanese and Chinese Land Cruiser parts...IMHO.
I have no problem with GM/Chevy/etc....my gripe is with aftermarket junk....take your pick...
