I bought another 8274 today. This one from a girl. It's quite nice. Taken off her jeep in great condition. I am putting my brand new solenoid pack on it. I am going to probably put the brand new, upgraded motor on it and modify my winch bumper to accept it on the 80 series. If this doesn't work, or cut it, I'll be having a winch sale! LOL.

Ok, I thought like a few weeks a go you bought a second 8274? does this make a third or am I just mistaken? Talked with my welder for like an hour yesterday taking measurements for my bumper, few things not going to be like I had in my mind with it but he says his way will be stronger so we will see. Materials are ordered though so the next Saturday he and I are both off he says he can build it in a day.

cool commercial!

i didnt know were to put this so this kind of seamed like a good place. tonight i was watching car crazy on the speed channel and at 9:40 pm there was a meguirs polish commercial that consisted of a monsterous big blue chevy 1500 and on the side of it was a little red land cruiser fj40 much like that of larry's. the two vehicles were talking to each other. the blue chevy told the fj that he spent all day yesterday polishing himself and the fj replies " i went offroading". the chevy responded, "offroading, i never do that! it scratches the paint." haha the fj replied once again yeah i go offroading all the time! been doing it for years! you know river crossing and that sort of stuf. then he showed the chevy his wazing secret. the said," it removes all of the little scratches and swirl marks, even works on soft paint like yours.

haha i thought that commercial was awesome! because the pretty big chevy had never gone offroad and the little cool looking fj40 was constantly out there in the dirt! ill try to find it and post the video later.

It is a cool looking rig. As for it being a limo, I hope so. We could all pile in there with our mispelled BSLCA shirts on and ride all over town, stopping to talk to people about the need to improve the educational system in this state!

Ummm that was 3 times... lol. I got it done in 15min w/ my 40. This time:
1. Need sellers driver's license :confused::mad:
2. Vin # appears to be 10 numbers and the "system" says there shoud be 11. Had to get State Troopers to inspect rig and fill out forms.

3. Go back to Casey & Casey and they say, "Oops, we don't do that.. you'll have to go to the DMV".

haha yeah me too! that would be awesome if i could go. maybe the old man will want to come too so that he can see what HE needs to do to the truck! haha o and i would post it in regular chat but umm i kind of have no idea what exactly and were exactly that is... lol

However, that would still be a hard trade. I love the Troopy and that would send me on the search for another one. ;)
