Can't wait. It's going to be on football network though, think only the local new orleans ABC station will broadcast it.

Thanks for that info, I like the NFL network but the commentating needs some improvement over last year. Looking forward to it.

At that price, I'm buying two in case one rips!
Look like he does good quality work and exactly what Jerome was looking for as well.

And it's about time!
X2 bud, trying to figure out how to get the satelite to work and bring it with me Labor Day weekend to watch the games from Sicily. :D

I know where you're going with that Marty.

:D I know it all too well buddy. I love clowning people about that. I knew you'd be legal. Some others I know, well, let's just say that I wouldn't put it past them.

A Gueydan lease, eh? I hope you have a good agreement with the farmer/land owner to make sure you have water on it. I love hunting Gueydan just for the convenience of it. A group of Cruisers lined up along a fence line on a rice field would make a sweet looking pic.

Bitchin cruiser Scott!

Yes Scott, the rig looks awesome!

Thanks... it looks good from afar.. far from "good". Lots and lots of little things that hurts to look at. I know... 25+ years...

Would love it to be "ready to go"... howver, those are $$$$$

I've been detecting a hint of disappointment here and there. I honestly think that it was a most excellent deal. It's like coming across a 57 chevy is really great shape for half what it's worth....a wise purchase for ANYONE....its a steal. This was that kind of a deal IMHO....I'd be thrilled...

I have some good news for him on a 78 tub suppose to be in most excellent shape if he wants it. Pics and price to come. Best part is free shipping via the Landry Express from TN.

I appreciate your kind words, looking the rig over and excitement. Most of all, just the help. I don't know that it is so much "disappointment" b/c it is one rare FJ and I love troopies (y's). I think it is more "worry" than anything else about dropping some cash on a rig when it may need a bunch of work and pics don't tell everything. I like the truck...still worried...lol

I'll take it!

Thanks

Scott, let us know if you find a bib....or if you're getting a new one. I find that I'm enjoying myself a bit too much in all the 45 forums!!! Kinda makes me wonder whatever became of my old 45 and what it looks like now, etc. They sure are special. I for one think we really have a unique and well represented group of Toyotas in our group already!

Will probably just go new but was hoping for a better deal in-house here. Thanks to everyone for looking for ANYTHING. You hanging out in the 45 room has helped me TONS!
Keep doing it.

Spoke w/ CCOT today and they'd "let" me buy an extra length of gutter for the 45. I'm not sure what to do about the gasket but it will be much easier to know one the thing is apart. I agree w/ John (PO)....the top has never been off of this thing. ...all the bolts have what seems to be factory paint.

...anyway, you know I like lists!! Gotta make some... when I get a damn plate for it.

...and I gave it to CCOT on the prices of the tubs!

I would guess that Acadiana Rubber and Gasket would be worth looking into. LL and I were talking about them. They are definitely worth investigating. I'd be interested in knowing how difficult or PITA it would be for them to make a hardtop to tub gasket as well as roof gasket.

100% worth looking into... I thought about that today myself as I was looking at CCOT.

Wanna get it torn down (top) to know what is "needed"

Puckett came in Wednesday to give Rebecca a lead on a light yellow 40 in Milton. Went looking for it yesterday but was a bit off and couldn't find it. But I found it today. Its not 4-Sale I talked to the his grandmother its stays at his parents house in Milton where he keeps it under carport and works on it from time to time its in real good shape needs basically a good cleaning but not much else. The yellow looks good on it, she said he bought it in Houston some years back. I swapped information and got his number so will give him a call or she'll get him my card one of the two but I hope we can get him to a meeting. She said its his pride and joy he lives somewhere off of Jefferson. Joe Spell.
