I likw that they are calling a hybrid an electric. Same concept as the volt just alot more power on tap from the sound of it.

Probably be electric powered for about 4 miles then hybrid the rest of the way.

actually the "engine" just powers a generator, its hard to catch when you first read thru, "Should a lead-footed driver tap into that tire-shredding ability too much, a 60kW generator driven by a Nissan V6 is there to pick up the slack"

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Hope y'all have a great day with friends and family!

About the time it stopped being a truck and became a soccer mom vehicle with "offroad capabilities". At least those capabilities are better than what many offer, albeit way too technological.

I agree. Say hello to our new "soccer mom" vehicle. It doesn't even have 4wd. My wife is very happy with the sunroof and the rear window that goes down. See what happens when I go wheelin at SI for a weekend! :bang::bang: At least it's a Toyota that will last a million miles. :)

That's a good looking driveway bud :) My Dad said the same thing he'd like to buy a newer mini truck for his property preferably like the older models he had a 93 xtracab for a few years but the newer Tacos are the size of his 1st Gen Tundra and the new Tundra are full size + they all seem to have grown up. It's the modern day thirst for power and size. That said I really like the new design of the new runners especially the trail edition.
