Same here, machines are the way to go easier to reseat with a big air source as well.
JK about a trade Josh I know you tires are pretty new keep chipping away at it something as got to work.

not glad to hear that CO dd your Staun`s as was thinking bout using em Oh! well back to the draw-in board

Well what tires are you going to use? The problem is that it is something special that you are suposed to do ONLY with interco tires because they are non standard. That and the airleaks I have around the stems. Thinking about using RTV on them when I go back together to stop all the leaks.

I figured you were. the chrome would look very out of place on my truck anyway.

I wish the stock market would quit taking a dump!

About to spend some money on my 4runner from my income tax return would you:

1: 4.7 gears in a single transfer case and twin stick
2: two stock 2.26 cases, no twinstick
3: high steer + IFS steeringbox

3,1,2

Dual cases will need new crossmember and driveshafts, thats why its last on my list. We can regear the T-case, just helped with 3.5 cases and its way easier to do twin stick while the case is apart. I fell I am on borrowed time with the stock push pull steering, its the weak link on the PU at this time.

3,2 if I had the money. 3,1 if I didn't.

I got more travel and stopped my binding issues with the crossover. Also don't have to worry about it breaking. If you want to get that thing back on the road, crossover is definitely best. I bent two stock tie rods and gave up with the stock. Also, I just bought the kit. I got a junkyard box and no stabilizer.

Yeah, i am leaning towards the highsteer. I would like to put a junkyard box but I doubt that the toyota still in pullapart still has one. will have to go check when I get back in. Arnt you suposed to plate the frame when you ddo a highsteer because of posible fractures? or am I thinking of a chevy frame?

There is a steering box hanging by the hoses on row 111 red 4runner. Many vendors sell a steering box mount kit, highly suggested for the solid axle frames, it comes with two plates and frame selves.

I had a cheap one shipped from a remote wrecking yard. Just the cheapest I could find on car-part.com. Hardest part was getting the pitman are off. That and getting the box mounted so far forward.

I'm watching CNN showing coverage of the events going down in the Middle East.

My question is....If you buy a Hilux over there, does it come from the lot with a weapons mount in the bed or is that something that comes aftermarket or maybe they have a TWD (toyota warfare development) package?

All kidding aside, all I have seen are toyota's with weapons mounted in them. Most of them newer hiluxes but also a few LC's of both old and new. Except for one newer flatbed Ford with an AA gun attached, sorta stuck out a little.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone! In honor of the tradition of this day I'm having Lucky Charms for breakfast. However, instead of milk, I'm having them with a Guiness Stout. Later, I'll shower using Irish Spring and of course, I'll wear something green today.
