Nope won't be making that run to close to the HotSprings trip to wheel and break something before heading out.

Same here I have a long list and with a bum foot I'm going to be ready at the buzzer. :meh:

i have the itch bad and i cant make any of the other upcoming events, so im gonna go scratch the itch with the J*** guys. LOL

I wish more like 2012 but I'd jump at the chance to go. I'd have to get the 80 in perfect shape for that trek. My parents are headed up there next month so I sent him some of these pics and told him this is the only way to see the real Alaska. I told him to keep his eyes peeled for dem Toys up there and take pics.

Yea had not thought of using the winch for that.Beautiful pictures ! But man thats alot of mud, I would think after a while that would get on the nerves.

As much as I hate the MUD I rather drive in it than the sand. Sand is tricky not enough throttle stuck, to much throttle stuck. I've seen that firewood trick in Redneck country :hillbilly: it works. That sure is an exhausting trip on a rig with all the mud, water and varying temps. Awesome trip though and worth it I'm sure. :)

Great thread I spent the last hour looking at pics and video awesome trip.

I use the winch trick all the time with gear. Works great and you can tighten it up when you bang it loose.

that does look good, think I will put one on my vents too
