Ok for those either bored, or interested. I got a SECOND job offer this week, this one going to work contracted through Baker to go to work 14 & 14 on a deep water platform. Raise and a promotion, plus a cook, BR hand, On site mechanics, IT hands and a crane operator. All the operators do is Manage the operations, We dont even Pop our own Pilots for MMS testing, the IT hand does it!!! my job will (hopefully) be just monitoring the Chemical injection and maintinaing an inventory of the chemicals on hand.
Plus I found out some pretty S***ty things abotut he Colorado job so that is right out. the bad: Baker gives vacations in the form of an extra check, I could not take time off to go on rides like I did last year with the SCC. But the way my schedual would fall I will be off this years SCC anyway!!!! Win Win Situation?
PS. Using the Windshield wipers is cheeting

. I feel bad for leaving, the B-has a good head on his shoulders but this is his first hitch here. tried to show him as much as I could. Our lead though... he is a nice guy but after being here for four months yesterday I had to show him where the well files where because someone called for some information. I had to remind him to do a safety drill this week, I had to take him on a tour of the platform and explain to him how the flow went on this platform, how to swap the generators, he did not even know our compressor was down stairs till I showed him how to check the oil in it.Thanks, the guys where I am at are not making it easy to leave
not to sound stuck up or egotistical but unless the B is as good as he says he is, which is not a good posibility with as much time as he lays in bed and watches movies during the day, this place is going to go to hell when I leave. And I cant Lie, the lead has been on the phone for the last three hitches trying to get me a bump in pay but enough is enough. I have an opertunity now and if I dont take it who knows when the next one will come? So why so i feel like ****?
It is normal to feel like ****. As soon as a few of those larger checks come in the mail.....the feelings pass.
... leaving that is, I was pretty ticked off over the Requisiton not being done and the forman talking to me like I should have made sure it was sent 
Any fans of the Olympics? Michael Phelps has been kicking some @ss. Swimming all of a sudden is fun to watch as he blasts by the best swimmers in the world.
Absolutely watching Phelps push out that big lead and the team holding on to it for a new WR of 6:58 with momma in the stands seeing her son become the greatest Olympian to date with 11 Gold Medals. Thats movie making material and exciting to watch.
