mike and i have spoken to the gentleman with the green 78-79 fj40 before.

however i have seen the mustard yellow 1980ish 40 in traffic before

never up close.

very nice i should have taken pics

kinda in a hurry.

Scanned and added to the website for those that can't get it. :) They managed to get the names mixed up under Scott's Troopy pic but in all good PR for the club.

I brought the yellow 40 home this evening. It has a few issues but overall I love it. I will post pics and more info tomorrow. Have to crash now, early wakeup.

That's a great quote. I will post some pics as soon as I can get them off the phone...Sony phone, lost cord...going to try a card reader.

I went to paradise today. Popped a bead, lost the plastic bumper off the right rear, winched one of those 4 door jeeps. It was a good time.

The 40 needs a throttle cable, reverse switch (or troubleshoot it) and I need to learn some wiring to get the wipers working. Then I can get it inspected.

The throttle cable is down to 2 strings at the pedal, going to do some searches and see what I need.
