hmmm

Im kinda interested in this run, don't know about room though? I am not interested in that bypass from the looks of the 4runner.:D

I did part of this run in my FJ Cruiser but only went as far as the V notch then we turned around, im talking about the two big boulders that you straddle. Whats past that? Im trying to understand about this whole going down the other side thing?? Maybe thats where the bypass is, to get back to the main road? Sounds like you guys get to the top and turn around? And where is that ledge that you climb straight up, the one I see people doing the little two point turn at the bottom???

Past the "V notch" is Bronco Peak, the actual peak. Beyond that is more trail which leads to other trails, one being the bypass.

We have turned around at a more difficult spot just beyond Bronco Peak.

The 'ledge' is part of Sidewinder, which is another "must do" trail in the area.

Do you mean the run this Sat or doing this run another time?

Reid since you have been there would it be a time killer to add one more rig if he wants in on this one?

That reminds me Mark (Taz) are you going too? If so a few of us will be caravaning from south county. Let me know either way.

I don't think adding one more rig will hurt.

Cool.

ZPDFJ are you in?

Im in at this point...barring no more disasters at work. Where and what time are you leaving the oc.

Meeing time is 6:45 currently. The location was going to be Rufino's off Hwy 1 and the 5 since he might not make it we should probably meet down by you at that time. Where is fwy close near you? Boyd and I will be coming south.

As of right now I am going to head down Fri night and camp out at the Bobcat meadow campground. You are all welcome to join me if you like. I will probably leave SJC around 4:00pm. What time do you anticipate hitting the actuall trail...9:00 am?

What CB / Ham channels we using?

Can't make it out Fri, thanks though. The plan is to meet at the Carl's Jr. in Alpine and leave for the trail head at 8:30.

I figure channel 13 for the date, pick a ham channel that works for you.

Boyd, lets meet at Oso/5 at 6:30.

The Bobcat Meadows Campground is in Corral Canyon, right near the trail head for 'Sidewinder'. We won't see him at Carl's. :hillbilly:

TAZ/Mark: We should meet you at the "Four Corners" area. It's a good staging area - to air down and such. We should be there 9:15ish (provided we leave Carl's by 8:30).

I still have to put in my rear drive shaft and hope the stock one is better than the DC one. If not, I'll have to put the CV one back in. I don't want to back out of this but will you guys still love me if I break down on the trail:D? Honestly, I've been driving about 700 miles like this so I don't think anything will detonate any time soon:D

bummer

Couldnt get out of my obligation, so i wont be there. Sucks, some time soon i will go on a run with you guys.

well...unfortunately i won't be able to make it to this run.

VISTA TACO, DARRIN you have room for one more 80 for the TTORA run?

Very sorry you can't make this one Rufino. We will make sure you are set for the next one. ;)
