Anyone wanna hit this run up again, THIS Saturday?
Short notice, sort of an impromptu (sp?) thing, but anyway...LETS DO IT!
I talked with Rusty Dan about it a couple of weeks ago, and he contacted me about it a couple of days ago.
Im really looking forward to testing out the new gear up front before Barrett Lake!

Who's in?

K

What time are you thinking?
Im already aired down...thats the nice part about this run!:D

Pick a time, if nobody else is going we can meet at your house and go in from the water tank road.
 Even if anybody else is going we can meet at the round about above Damonte Ranch HS and start from there.

I'll bring a sandwich or something.

If we have time maybe we'll hike the upper section to see where the rock buggies play.

Dang I would love to wheel this with you guys but my stuff is torn down.
Have fun!

Dylan
Yeah sure, "I'd love to go but I'm working on my rig."

Pansey, you couldn't do a real trail, like Fordyce or something.

Oh wait, nevermind.:flipoff2:

Lets say 830 at my place.
Split the difference, eh!?

Sounds good on hiking up the trail a ways!

Sounds good see you then.

Hey RustyDan :flipoff2:

The real truth is I don't want to spank you to bad on your local trail with my 60!

Dylan
You notice I didn't start mouthing off until I heard you couldn't make it.
After all I took the bypass at winch hill #1

UMMMMM...yeah....
We bailed on it. :o With only 2 rigs (a 62 and a 40), we decided that it wouldnt be the smartest idea to roll it, in case one of the two of us broke in there. Once youre committed in there, YOURE COMMITTED with no place to turn around!
Dan didnt feel confortable spotting me, and were were both concerned about a breakage and would really like to have a shawn or jack along for BOTH operations.
We walked the whole run and its a NASTY motha. I dont think there was a dirt spot in it.
Soooo big D. When we can get some others on board, well let you know!
I honsetly think I could have made it, but there are s few spots off the top of my head that I would have needed some really good spotting.
The pinch rock that Alvaro got hung up on....my hats OFF to him, cuz theres NO WAY id have tried that line.
Its a diff/ drive shaft KILLER for sure in there!

Still really wanna try it though. Id feel pretty good if I made it through!

K

Wimps.:flipoff2:

:D

Yeah...Im feeling a bit like a :princess:, but neither of us were all that comfortable with the situation as it was.
It would definatley be a challenge getting that BOAT of a crusier I have through that motha. I sometimes wish it were smaller and LIGHTER. Might have to get out the saw zall...
