So I striped some teeth off of the ring gear. Some one told me you can put the v6 gears in my front axle with the right bearings. Is this upgrade really stronger and if so how do you do it? Also has anyone else broken their diff like this?

These are yukon 529's
I doubt the gear teeth are any stronger.

Check out Toyota Gear Installs for more info on diffs. I think you can put 4 cylinder gears into a V6 diff with some oddball bearings, not the other way around. V6 diffs are stronger than 4cylinder.
That carnage looks like not enough carrier bearing preload, so the ring deflected under load, and the tips of the gears got chewed off...

Ya I did'nt set these up the PO did. I was also thinking they wern't set up rigtht.
