s***, so I ordered the wrong side. Oh well, so when they state left side or right side on the description LS=DS and RS=PS? My orientation was wrong, sorry
That is correct, all the driver side parts are 69220 starting. Unless your like them crazy aussies and drive on their roof . Never hurts to have a spare laying around for when they go NLA.

The door handles for the 80 series are the same as some mid 90's Camry, but all are now discontinued by Toyota.

Did a handle repair nine years ago using Loctite two part epoxy. It's starting to pull away from the plastic, might still be holding some. Next time may try a plastic welding tool which uses heated staples that're pressed into the plastic. Only issue with that is you'd
then be left with some pointy staple ends after the staple arms are cut off, so still may need to add an epoxy to cover those sharp tips.

You happen to know which years are a match to the 80’s?

I found this picture from another thread - in this picture it looks black and metal - but mine is white and plastic and i dont' know how to remove it to get the external door handle out

I think the metal one in my door that I took out was held in by a screw or two. It wasn't complicated. I took it out because it was rattling.

Thanks Charlie - I remember pulling off the door card the other week - maybe I was just tired but it seemed impossible to remove and I just could not see any accessible bolts or screws. Will try again - saw a video and i might have to remove the inner door actuator to get access to the external door handle.

Here is the one I took out. It had one screw holding it in place. Yours might be a different year/design, etc.
