While fixing a water leak I noticed two clips were broken off the tailgate mat cover in my lx470 so no it won't securely fasten. Is there a remedy without spending $300 on a new piece? Part # is

glue gun. you can also cut those off and steal some of the removable ones from under the four door sill plastic, white, yellow or red colored I think. Also on
ebay there are toyota sienna pugs like that, they are a green color that are a tiny bit bigger. I never checked the size of the ones on the piece in your picture. Mine were like that and I glue gunned to stay upright after being squished down by someone. If they were partly missing I'd glue down new ones, or try to at least.
