Brand new 1HZ

I was doing some running around yesterday for work and my travels led me to Ens Industrial. While there I was able to see a new mine truck being driven around by one of the employees. What an amazing piece of machinery. It sounded nothing like the rattly american junk that is everywhere here. It sounded so smooth and precise. I cant get over how Toyota deisels are such an amazing piece of machinery. It was a thing of beauty.
Now for the tech question. What is the best way to get the maximum amount of seat/driver room in a HZJ73. Being 6'10" doesnt give me alot of extra room in a cruiser let alone a RHD but I must have one. Bend the pedels over for foot room? New seat brackets? I have a 85 mini truck right now and its comfortable enough for me but its time for a cruiser.

The white powder all over the motor is fiberglass dust from the installation of a glass hood.

You're in Canada? I don't know why my mechanic didn't get the engine there. Instead, it's coming from Down Under! WTF?

The 1HZ is the best I have heard to date - amazes N. American diesel owners when they hear them - of course followed by a "stupid japanese diesel" comment.

13T-wicked little motor, sensitive throttle, okay milage, lots of power
2H-nice motor, good fuel milage, sucks on power
12HT- wicked power, bullet proof, not the greatest on fuel
1PZ-better power than similar sized 3B, good on fuel, quiet
1PZ turbo- great power, good fuel milage, quiet, a lot of fun to drive
1HZ-tons of grunt, good on fuel, quiet, slow
1HZ turbo-sweet ass engine
HDT, very nice engine, great on fuel, tons of power, quiet
KZ(T)-??? i hear they crack heads as well, poor on fuel, good power
F-poor milage, good power, poor oilling system
2F-poor milage, decent power long life span
3F-?? heard great power sucks on fuel, long life span
3FE-poor fuel milage, okay power, poor oil journal plug design, will let go and dump all the oil.
1FZ-excellent power, excellent (for a gasser) fuel milage, long life span

take your pick...most of these are rated by my personal experience.
