Hi, I have a '95 and this weekend the shifter locked up in park. I over road it with the MOR and changed the brake light safety switch, but the same symptoms still exits - unable to shift from park, no rear brake lights. Fuse #1, 2 and 9 (all 15 amp look good). Any other ideas on what to check? Thanks in advance!

I know you say the fuses look good (don't know them by those numbers so I'll assume you've looked at the right ones), but are they secure in their terminals? I've seen several faults on these due to the little spade clamps not holding the fuse blade tight enough

One or both of the engine–transmission harness connector housings. They are located directly above the starter. If the terminals aren't clean, they won't send or receive signals from/to the ECM.

Now all you have to do is find out why the fuse blew in the first place.
