So, I replaced the 9mm fittings/lines on my 1965-45 pickup with the newer, standard, 10mm x 1.0 fittings when I upgraded the brakes to a dual circuit system
Just measured the thread pitch on the 9mm fitting and it is 1.0, not 1.25.

another trap to watch out for is that the replacement fittings are long enough to fit into the union I've had replacement nuts that are too short and don't seat on the pipe flare when fully screwed in
no everything on my trucks are 10mm and a few non metric bits for the PBR remote boosters that I think are 3/8 UNF or something like that I cant remember its been a few years since I did any brake work on them but I do remember getting nuts that weren't deep enough for the unions
You might ask if anybody on the forum with a pre-'70 cruiser did a recent brake change over and see if you can re-use their old 9mm fittings.
