The 100 rack will be the same as the 80 series roof rack. $850 plus shipping
when do you think they will be ready for purchase? does it include mounting hardware? install into factory mounts? thanks so much
I just got the next version side rails laser cut and they look really good. Also the next version of the mounting brackets cut, but I still have to do the bending on them. I am hoping to have racks ready to order before the end of the month. That way I can get PO's in for side rails, extrusions, fronts, brackets, fasteners, etc. My wife and I are going on a trip to SF last week of Feb, so hoping I come home to fresh parts to powder coat and put together/package for shipping.
The kit will be everything you need to put a roof rack on your truck using the factory mounting holes.
Are there any pictures of how you'll integrate a light bar?
The light bar fits down into a cutout area in the wind deflector. The base of the cutout is the 1x 2 extrusion. You just use 4 t-nuts/bolts (included when you order the light bar style) to bolt the brackets that come with the light bar.
Very close to ready on both the 100 and the 60 racks. I need to adjust the wind deflector profile on both, and just a couple of other tweaks. The 100 roof brackets have been tough as well as making it look right with the out-of-square roof. The little "wings" on the front of the 100 rack do the trick.
Some 100 rack photos
Here are a couple of 60 photos.
Another really great thing is that the cross bars are a perfect fit for Yakima accessories that have their screw clamps. There is a rubber insert that has to come out, then they are spot on and really solid. Here are some pics of their kayak rack for an example.
I may have missed it but does the $850 include the black powdercoat? Or jut bare metal?
Nice racks. Looks pretty tough and stylish
$850 includes powder coating (black texture or anodized silver color). The cross bars are anodized, either black or clear (silver).
Here is the silver color on my 80
