I'm sure there is a quick fix, engine runs fine but the tach on my BJ73 is bouncing - cutting out. Must be a connection somewhere, where would I check first? Thanks

I'm going to take a wild guess and say bad ground. Probably on the cable going to the tach itself (ie you may have to pull the cluster). Check the Tach sender unit first and check other obvious grounds that your FSM might show.

Thread out the tach pick-up, and clean it up. Clutch material may have coated the pick up. Also check if your connections are all fine and dandy. Otherwise it doesn't get simpler than that in a 13BT bell-housing.
