As mentioned, selling our 83 Bj46 - price $13,000- Titled here in CO.
The truck looks good from 20 feet, but really was an amateur resto. Flat steel was used to replace floor body parts that had the ribs in them, and the rear fenders were a mix of welded patches & riveting in place, rather than welded, etc.... But it is definitely a truck you could just drive & have fun with as-is. Or you could weld in new panels or even get a replacement half tub & do a real restoration. It all depends on what you want to do with it.
The truck was an April of 83 build, and it has a 3B/4speed, with a semi-float rear axle & discs up front & an OEM roll bar, which wasn't super common on Euro spec MWB trucks. It was red originally, and still is in the engine bay. It has OEM buckets up front & rear jump seats. It has 16" split rims & is left hand drive. The gauges mostly work really well. The fuel gauge was wonky, but we replaced the sender & it is perfect now. But I'm not sure if the ammeter works or not. I don't really know how to tell if it is working perfectly, or not at all & just stuck in the middle. We rebuilt the steering arm last summer & steering is solid (OME stabilizer too). It has a brand new fan clutch on it, and the top is only a few months old as well.
We put brand new Kumho M/T's (235/85r16) on it about 75 miles ago. Anyway, if you want more info or want to follow up & see it in person, I'm happy to meet up at some point.
Thanks,
Abe
