This BOSS Airbag Suspension Load Assist Kit, LA-83 is designed for older model Land Cruisers such as 40 series vehicles (models 40, 42, 43, 45, and 47); FJ55 series vehicles (models 55 and 56), FJ60 series vehicles (models 60 and 62) and all FJ70 series vehicles with rear leaf springs and bump stops. If you carry a heavy load or your Land Cruiser sags in the rear, you should consider air bags to adjust your suspension. This BOSS Airbag Suspension Load Assist Kit suits vehicles with a standard height to 2 inch lift. Lift over 2 inches--LA-83T costs $50 more.

The individual kits are complete with the following: Brackets top and bottom, BOSS Extreme Series Double Bellow 2600 pound Airbags x 2 (1 for each side), Mounting Hardware, Air Lines, Air Fittings for air lines and two schrader valves.

I have them on my 60. They rock.

I had Firestone Ride-Rites cobbled on my 60 (saggy original rear springs...) from about ‘94 onwards, they failed eventually and I installed a set of Boss bags (about 12 years ago) on a set of Ironman springs (installed about 15 years ago). The Boss kit was an easy install, very professionally made, and just works perfectly. Eight million thumbs up!

Which size bags did you go with? Looks like we have roughly the same lift and I'm torn between the small or the larger size.

I have the 2 bellow kit, for stock to 2” lift. My truck is not lifted at all. It’s 100% stock suspension minus the bags.
