Hi,

I recently replaced the booster and the master cylinder and manually bled the brakes on my 87 FJ60. I dialed in the booster rod several times to get it right so the brakes don't grab when coasting to a stop and the pedal feel is good. After driving about 4 miles for an errand, I got back in the car and the brakes will not disengage. I managed to get back home, let the car cool down a bit and dismounted the master cylinder and, made NO adjustments, and remounted it and all was fine. I did several test drives around the neighborhood and everything is fine. After the weekend I drove the same 4 mile distance and again, after getting back in the car the brakes won't disengage! Do I just need to dial the booster piston back to allow for some change that happens when the car gets up to a certain temperature. Is it a faulty master cylinder? Any thoughts? Thanks in advanced!
