I have been trying to find this color code. Its a real dark blue, I believe in the 80s. The color charts show a lighter blue, I remember this color as a kid.

I'd wager medium blue - creative name.

Thanks, I have a medium blue from Cruiser Corps and it is not as dark at this. I will post a pic later today or tomorrow.

use to have a 1983 BJ42 LX in that 857 Blue

The hood and door color (navy blue) is much darker than the medium blue (857) which is on the quarter panel. The 857 looks lighter than the rigs above.

857 seems right, also used on earlier fj60. Maybe your pics are repaints in the later fj60 blue?
