Has anyone booked a campsite for the Blues Cruise this year?
If not I would like to get the weekend picked out, the calendar fills up fast...

Not familiar with the Blues Cruise...what/when/where is it?

The Blues Cruise is the Keystone event for the Keystone cruisers, it used to be known as the Coal Miner Classic.
The event is a Thursday through Sunday & is usually held in the middle of July. Attendees stay at the Twin Grove Campground and travel to AOAA or Rausch Creek everyday for wheeling.

Here is last year's thread for reference.

We have reserved cabins for week of july 6-12. Wheeling aoaa July 9-11
Dammit, the weekend of Bloomsburg Jamboree again....

Got it...been to the coal miner classic a few times ..
I'll be up to wheel Fri and Sat

Grabbed T16 Thursday -Sunday, may add Wednesday as we get closer.

@RHIN0 from Cova Cruisers came up with a t-shirt design and we'd like to get a count. Please let me know if you want one and if so what size, how many, Etc. feel free to pm me if you prefer.

Interested hitting up this trail ride with the group for my first time. Is there any fee or registration? Is it all blues (hence the name), or are some blacks mixed in? If I just join for Saturday can I just meet up with the group in the parking lot at aoaa?

It is mostly blues, if a group wants to run a black trail that's not a problem.

There is no registration for the event itself this year, you will just have to pay to enter the park and for a camp site if you will be staying overnight at Twin Grove.

Starting to see this in the horizon, when is everyone getting there? I’m loading Wednesday evening, leaving home between 6-7 Thursday, should be there before lunchtime to meet up with whatever group is around.

Need to start thinking about dinners too, I’ll probably do some marinated chicken and steak with tortillas again to share with whoever is around. Plus some grilled veggies.

Joe are you bringing kids this time? I’ll grab the pancakes Duke liked if I can find them.

I will be coming up Thursday.
Do we just want to go to camp Thursday or are people interested in wheeling that afternoon?

I would be interested in pitching in for your dinner, let me know what I can bring to contribute. What day would you want to cook that up?

I will be going directly to aoaa Thursday morning to try and catch the group on way in to the trails. Ryan is getting there Wednesday evening I believe, I’ll likely call and coordinate with him and any others coming in Wednesday or early Thursday. Then after wheeling, head to check in and set up camp.

Who else is there Wednesday or Thursday AM and wants to wheel Thursday morning? I plan on leaving my place at 6-6:30 AM, and it’s about a 3 hour run. I should be at the parking lot by 10am-ish or earlier.

Maybe I'll make the long arduous journey north through the wilds and visit one evening.
