Blackstone labs say no coolant found in oil

Assuming you've done the compression test correctly, this is a healthy engine with one slightly weaker cylinder, not something that alone explains rough running, rich mixtures, or major drivability issues. Generally, within 10% is ideal, so 11–12% down is borderline but not catastrophic, especially on an older motor. Interested to see what your co2 test shows.
This has been a learning curve for sure , I followed the instructions that were in the test kit , plus watched several YouTube videos . I’ll do the co2 tomorrow and post what I find . Fingers crossed .

Hello to all the awesome help out there for my worry’s about head gasket, first it’s on my 1997 80 series Landcruiser , 270000 or so . These are pictures I took this afternoon as I was doing the compression test , you guys tell me , please do the numbers look good ( correct ) ? The 4th cylinder is obviously the lowest , and that’s what the plugs looked like , I cleaned them up and checked the gap , I sent a picture of the 4th cylinder reading for yall to see and tell me if I’m reading that correct . I also picked up the leak test with the blue fluid but , it’s dark , I’m fine for tonight . Thanks guys yall are the absolute best . What a wealth of information on here . Can’t thank yall enough.

i would call it 165. it is important to crank for about the same amount of time on each cyl. looking good so far.

Well I thank you Bussman , question ? How do the plugs look to you ? The 3rd ins had a brownish burnt ring on the porcelain, anything to look out for ? Thanks again

Ok , I’ve fooled around with this combustion leak test seems all day , the picture of the milk jug is how much antifreeze I took out with a turkey baster , it was going fine both times ! But !!! Well you see , yes I cleaned the test tube and bubble well tried again , stayed blue ! But then the antifreeze comes up ? Did I take out enough antifreeze? Or do I have bigger problems?

you just sucked up antifreeze. looks good

you have to remove quite a bit of coolant to avoid sucking it up. Some kits have dual chambers to deal with this as well. Remove a bit more and try again with fresh dye. For a proper reading, you dont want any antifreeze mixed in with it.

I held onto the test kit, just a rental from autozone
That’s my next step

You're in Nashville, right?
@Zjohnsonua and @RocketCityCrzrs are fantastic cruiser heads down in Huntsville - best of the best. They're quite affordable. They did my top end rebuild a while ago. I'd just ship it down there and be done.

Thanks for the information I truly appreciate that , I can’t find anyone in town to dive that deep on it . That’s definitely beyond my pay grade

PM sent, @landbeast

+1 on Cory and rocket city cruisers.

I’ve had similar head gasket trouble shooting and Ive confirmed this morning. When I’ve done a cold/hot compression test, nothing stood out. However, a borescope on a cold engine confirmed coolant in cyl 6.

Since you’ve done the compression test, you should be more than capable to shove a camera in there, amazon has them for 25$, they hook up to your phone.

Would a small digital scope camera work ?

If your'e burning that much coolant, you're looking for a clean piston top. That coolant is steam cleaning it.

I've got a little Aliexpress-level scope that honestly works great. It's not actually that surprising when you think how small, cheap and good the camera is in your average smartphone at this point. They're just putting a similar camera module on the end of a little flexi-arm. I use it maybe once a year, but man is it nice that single time, and for the price I'd buy another if it broke.
