...As far as distance from Brownsville to Moab was 1375 miles 23hrs.

Now from Brownsville to Mt. Rusmore is 1518 miles 24hrs.

...which is about 143 miles difference/ 1.5 hrs more!

Doable! I might need new front tires for the Paloma plus new sitting arrangements for the Boys in the back Jonah(oldest) fit tight and Fernie is getting there too!

I said it before, We ain't buying a new to me tow rig!

.....now, I seriously need to consider the 30-32' feet gooseneck and sliding camper:grinpimp:

So ya'll are doing the event and not just going on your own?

Event. It is just easier that way.

The hosting club can do the planning and entertaining and we can split up and run trails to the ability of our vehicles and then come back to camp and have fun as a group at night.

That's perfect. Let somebody else worry about hosting and organizing the event. Show up and have a great time as a group.

I'll hit up toploader. He's always good for a road trip.

Nada Tolleson's are not going north this summer.

Bummer. :frown:

But on the other hand, that gives you more time to prep for Rubithon 2013!

Georg

I am accumulating like these accountants that I work for now "PTO".

.... in my language that's vacations/time off for the Rubithon 2013.

unfortunately this year I will not be participating much, I have a new job and in the process of building a new house, so not much time or funds available. Darn it!

I probably will make it to the Crawl in October tho' :hillbilly:
