2 Questions:
Where do I get a hitch like that?
Where do I get the lights on the front bumper?

Looks great!

Hitch is a Pintle hitch. I use it with my m416 trailer. Here's one: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_29325_29325?cm_mmc=Google-pla-_-Towing-_-Towing%20Hooks-_-1285&ci_sku=1285&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw={keyword} Might google or try ebay as well.
Front bumper lights are Hella 500's. I bought them years ago at Pep Boys. I use the Slee wiring harness upgrade with them. I also upgraded my headlights with the John Deere HIR bulbs for the harness.

Thanks for the compliment...

Hey thanks Mick for the compliment.
I thought it might be necessary to update the thread with a pic of the front-end with the new Ironman bumper, Badland's 12k winch, LightForce lights, Hi-lift jack and the newer sombrero T grill emblem. So here it is as it sits today except for the corner lights that we (Garrett) changed back to the stock amber lenses.

I didn't get in for the first round of
Stunning, simply stunning. I like the black stripe.:steer:

Looks awesome. I might have left out the black on the hood staying a little more on the traditional side, but make no mistake about it that color looks awesome.

and here's how it looks finished:

Hey Summit...I like your white roof and planning to do the same. I also like the location of your paint break line above the front pillars. Did you make a straight cut across from the top of the gutter rail to the top corner of the windshield molding or did you round it off? Do you think it would be a good idea to 3M some black molding trim across the paint line for visual effect to make the roof look distinct from the body? Any input/suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks great! Of course, I'm biased. Here's my 1990 diesel 1HD-T in Tanzania. PO painted it before I got my hands on it.

Here's a few pics I took this am of the front pillars. When looking at it straight on it is flat. We tried to emulate the fiberglass top that is on the 40's.
If you haven't done so already, now would be a great time to remove the factory roof rack before painting.

Thanks,
Hood vents came from a Grand Prix GTP.

Very sweet...the close up pic really helps, can you post a close up pic of the rear as well please? What white did yo go with...FJC Iceberg White 058?. Also can you provide any reference points to achieve that curve and where to start the paint break, such as start paint break x inches from front windshield molding, x inches from gutter rail, and x inches up pillar for midpoint of curve, same with the rear. Lmk know and the feedback is much appreciated.

I like your hood vents and sun block on the hood for the aesthetics but I would not get much bang for my buck with my black fzj80. My factory roof rack is coming off.

Btw Summitt, the only thing I may like better about my 80 is my Depo headlights and TEQ front grille badge emblem...that and a bag of chips...otherwise I am not worthy...haha

I wish I had done the Depos earlier! They put out awesome light and look so much cleaner!

Here's the can of white paint. If I remember correctly, it is the exact match of the white it used to be. We ended up reprinting the entire roof in this white when we removed the factory roof rack when building the flat rack.

For making the turns, we didn't really use any templates or anything. Just very skinny 1/8" tape and tried to connect features of the car. Like the bottom of the gutter back to window seal.

Question not related to painting but to your tire size. I have some 17's fjcruiser steel stock wheels and thinking about tire size for the new truck I'm building. Wanting to stay skinnier than the 315 75 16's I'm running on my current truck. I like your stance - whats the rubber?

the rubber is Dunlop Rover H/T's .... P265/75 R16

I thought those were 17 TRD's - guess not

Thanks

My wheels are the 17x7.5" newer FJC/older 5th gen trail edition wheels with 35x12.5r17 Kenda Klevers. These wheels being 7.5" keep it on the narrower side. Actual measurements are close to 34x11 on the truck.

Never a bad time for Depos. I had Ray at www.rallylights.com / Susquehanna MotorSports make the harness, he has all the logic down for a clean single harness for the Depo headlight install. I picked up the TEQ badge which is available in custom colors at http://www.bh3dprinting.com/
