It was probably Brian, because like Al, he lives in the kootneys.

Here is the link, scroll down to the Kootney trip:

I think it is somewhere north of Nelson, sort of in the middle of the Kootneys

Amazing pics and an interesting write-up. Best i could figure out is that its somewhere around Cranbrook given the mine name. Would be great to do another joint club run there again.

Bill, maybe it should be on the agenda for the next meeting?

Interesting, you say. FTR, it's a really really tough trail in there and I highly doubt a Nissan could make it.

But... thanks. I helped Agent Orange with the grammar. She had a bit of trouble with hitting the right keys with her swampers as she typed. That was a great trip and the photos I took are still among my favourites.

:p

don't get caught up thinking about the 15 yr rule and whatnot. The mine trucks are imported for business under the cab chassis regulations.

The VIN on the canadian mine trucks from ENS say "offroad" on them. So the registering is quite a bit odd.

I have understood it to be easier in Alberta to get them registered.

I think the best option would be to find one from the middle east that was 15 years old. Then you have LHD. And don't have to do funny stuff with licencing.

Kind a figured so much - that a woman wrote it - correct grammar and spelling that is. Ya, I can understand it would be hard to keep a Nissan Patrol to stay on the trail: YouTube - Patrol - GQ Nissan Patrol.;p

:hhmm: hmmm... changed your post I see ;) I thought maybe you'd think that because it was full of nonsense and long winded.

Anyway, I was kidding about the difficulty. If I recall correctly you could easily drive up a VW bug there.
