Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience with Dan's (4wheel auto) rear brake conversion kit? I'm getting a little tired adjusting the rear brakes after every wheeling trip. Is there a cheaper/better way to do it?

Does anyone have a 70 series where the drum brake adjusters actually work?

Mine are good since I took them apart, got them spotlessly clean and reassembled with dabs of grease in the recommended places.
Occasionally if I yank the handbrake too hard they will lock on and I will have to pull on the cable,no big deal.
But generally I only adjust them once a year

roodogs4wdspares on aussie ebay sells a spring and washer kit that contains all the little bits that wear out for rebuilding the rear brakes.

if dan is selling that POS chevy parts conversion then stay away, they are s***.

you can get a factory disc setup from Japan to replace your and it si a direct bolt up...

talk to Dave at Japan 4X4 or G&S cruiser parts...or if you are loaded then you can get a brand new setup from ENS...
