BJ-42/44 Diesel LandCruiser
This is what I put the down payment on.... Don't mind sharing now1982 BJ42/44 LandCruiser If it is still on here, it is still for sale. First with cash gets it and I live in the boonies.

PRICE REDUCED!! WILL NOT LOWER ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU BRING YOUR OWN TIRES FOR IT.
For Sale, trade or partial trade/cash. Built in Japan while stationed there. BJ42 body on a BJ44 frame. THIS IS NOT THE STATESIDE VERSION.
1982 BJ Land Cruiser, 24 volt (dual battery), 3B DIESEL MOTOR, Right Hand Drive/left hand shift, pedals are the same (clutch, brake, then accelerator)
4 speed manual trans, OEM FRONT AND REAR CABLE LOCKER DIFFERENTIALS (pull lever in cab to lock frt/rr/or both; push lever to unlock).
Leafed over suspension, brand new HD Zeal BJ-44 leaf springs. 4.11 gears, HD high steer components (mods), 38.5x14.5x15 TSL-SX Swampers (5),
extended travel Bilsteins in the front, Ranchos in the rear, it flexes like crazy, could not find rear jump seats in Japan, so I put a rear double flip seat from
a BJ-74 (with seat belts) in the rear. Fabbed front and rear bumpers. I put a BJ-62 Power Steering on it since the 40 series boxes are weak (but still have the
original). Batteries moved to the passenger (left) side of engine compartment. Even with the current configuration, this beast stills gets 30+ miles to the gallon.
I built it for the mountains and rock crawling in Japan but then got sent to North Carolina. It is flat here and using it only as a farm truck now.
The 24 volt Warn 9500 winch pictured will NOT sell with the LandCruiser unless price accomodates. with this winch left on it)
This is a bikini top only vehicle, but have several types of doors and a soft top frame, etc. I have extra seats, all the factory emblems, Teraflex revolver shackles and boxes of items I bought for it but forget all of it as well.
All Japanese docs will come with vehicle for authenticity along with Japanese license plates and all of my extra original parts, spare parts and all other parts
that I bought for the planned restoration. The motor, tranny and especially the front and rear differentials are worth more than asking price. Perhaps someone
would like to keep it whole. I have seen these trucks go for $15-20k but I have other priorities now.
This is not a low end truck but she is not a show truck either,
This truck with this drivetrain is hard to come by.
