had it stripped down in no time

took the housing to work with me and stripped it of all the brackets with the shop plasma (on my list next for shop tools)

got it home and clean it up with a grinder and some cutoff disks then prepped it for a cut and turn

cut turned and v'd ready for welding

here it is all welded up with ruffstuff perches

next up I dug around in my stash of parts for these

ifs hubs from a 86 4runner

Anyone making the spacers for the IFS hubs now a days?

I don't know mace I went a different route one that's not really advertised as doable on a cruiser axle

I had the mounting surface turned down about 5/8ths

About that time parts showed up for the used lockrite steve at extreme bends had hooked me up with showed up.

Swapped in the lock rite. Man I love working on the bigger cruiser diffs compared to the mini truck stuff.

Interesting, did you space the spindle out as well? Longer Birf?

No spacer on the spindle and stock length birfs

Still fits stock cruiser rims which was opposite to what I had read about this kit

Measures up to 62 wms to wms which is perfect for the rear diffs im building.
