Anyone have any thoughts on the relative merits of the single vs dual swing outs? I've been thinking dual, with the 2nd being for jerry can holder, but it also seems like a single that could hold both the tire carrier and the jerry can holder might do the trick just as well.

I found all the info I needed on this ... dual is the way to go.

Thought about going to 100s in the Hills but it is too hard core for me with no armor.

No armor is needed for HIH. I did it last year without armor and didn't have any nervous moments. I think there's only 1 trail where you might need it (Poughkeepsie).

I sent Mike my order confirmation today. By the way, he mentioned that there will still be some charge for delivering in person. He'd basically have us evenly divide his cost for renting a trailer to bring all the stuff down.

Thanks for putting that out there. I assumed that would be the case and assumed most would also assume. Still should be significant savings.

Lots of folks do not have armor, like Clunky said there is one trail that "may" require it depending on driving style.

I went on a trail every day, a stock 100 could do any trail other then Poughkeepsie with out any damage or issues. Its a great place to learn to wheel and drive with out much concern for damage if you are paying attention you will be fine.

Hey @bluecruiser, speaking of HIH, I was starting to consider a local fabricator for my rear bumper, but I read some of this year's HIH trip reports and it reminded me that BIOR is a sponsor of that great event. Mike is a great guy, makes a quality product, and supports this community = no brainer to get the bumper from him!

Just found this post. I'm ready to buy a 100 rear bumper from Mike, as well.
Is it just the break on shipping, so far? I'm in Tucson, so I need to factor in a trip to PHX.

Nice. Yep Mike is able to deliver in December for those that want to wait. I believe that would make 3 rears? I'm still on the fence. Getting closer to 10% discount on the 100 rear bumper. Post up if anything changes.

Sounds like we only need one more after 92 gives into the urge to buy the bumper he wants ;)

I'm in too.

I knew you were in Hank but if I'm not mistaken Mike needs all of the same bumper, so all 100 series for the group buy discount. I'm open to correction but that is what I took from our conversation.

Oh, I understand now. Thanks. Thought you were referring to delivery.
