Those Weavers are amazing. Kind of pathetic that I only have the 884runner's stock bottle jack. Time to setup a craigslist watch app.

I found a vintage Walker 778 on CL for $120. Needs a rebuild. Good deal or no? Thanks for your help.

I don't know Walker's model numbers, I would think anything old Walker is good. Seal kits can get expensive. Paying someone to do it can be over a hundred, also.

You get a great jack when done, but it costs alittle.

If you have any question, pay a pro to rebuild. It could be pricey but for me, my safety is worth 100 X as much. I've paid heavily to get mine done. I use and abuse it for 10 years and get it done again
