Probably OK as long as you have a way to heat the water...or happen to like cold showers

In colder climates, a lot of people boil the water first and then fill up the Big Kahuna.
Otherwise, if you're going to use it in Death Valley you'll be fine

Dave, I've been using one of these for about 2 years now. Works great, packs up small and doesn't take up a lot of space when transporting. Water pressure is adequate and the water heats up very fast. A 5 gal. water can will shower 2-3 people. I really enjoy mine as do all that camp with me.

I've seen this mentioned a couple of times, it sounds very practical and economical. Does anything need to be done to the sprayer/equipment to be ready to use?

I'd get one, It's simple and portable. Probably easy to fill with warm water to shower, probably even hook it up to a bigger jug. It's on my list to look at for the future now. Thanks, SOCALFJ for showing me this!
