These last 3 are samples of West River Rd.

You can imagine why they would close it in flash flood times.

I would love to see the water going through here

I've got drone footage of this wash. It was fabulous.

It was. GPS showed me there at the river. No way I was turning back at that point.

That is the southern tip of the park. It is where boaters launch Mariscal Canyon.

This is the second flight. I'm going to combine the two later and upload High Def. The standard def upload sucks the life out of the GoPro camera footage.

I have a feeling that, with a critical mass of MUD folks in the fleet, this next trip may be more similar to the one Nolen took 28 years ago (donkeys, peyote, firearms, side trips to Ol' Mexico, etc..). therefore, I plan to attend.

Just make sure you beef up the tow points on the Pilot. We can get you through this.

As for the drone, it is illegal to fly drones in National Parks so that was not taken in a national park.

Here's a clip I snipped off the end of a flight

I know there is not much interesting about those iPhone videos but it gives you an idea of what the roads are like.

East River Rd was mostly like a superhighway. Smooth with big hills and turns. Was fun to "Baja" those roads though. I think
Keeping a fast pace when able and safe was the key to me seeing as much as I did in a short time.

The terrain here south of Glenn Spring was beautiful. Lots of color.

We went through this last night. Full on Austin Powers denial... It's NOT mine.... It's my daughter's car - she's just not quite old enough to drive it yet. I think we need to start a thread on here titled "Doesn't make me gay" and the first post will be my (daughter's) pilot. You can post pictures of your white whine collection and fine kitchen wares...

I think she will be safer in the 100 series you will be buying to replace it.

Then you can get another 100 series every other year as your offspring become eligible.

This has become my plan.

Backcountry permits are 24 hours in advance.

I text my Ranger friend he said he can get a permit anytime.

I'll do a bit of research but I know I want to be on the river at least one night. It is so unbelievibly remote it is hard to explain.

This time of year it is always pics of people on the beach in white shirts and khaki shorts.

I love those albums because of the LARGE portion of MILFs on my FB that slip in that one awesome shot of them in a bikini in an 20 photo album......

you do any target practice while down there? alot of open space to plink away....but it does draw attention. (obviously I mean outside parks)
