Lots of interest

Looks like everyone is playing hooky, great:bounce: ! There are several FJC's meeting us up at fawnskin 8:30. We can meet here in south county and drive up, how about 6:30 ish. Slomo can pick the place.:grinpimp:

How about I bring my 62 to add some testosterone to this pink panty party?:princess:

Hey, who are you calling pink panty? My cruiser doesn't even have chrome let alone that Lexus gold. :D :flipoff2: You are welcome to join us though.

Taz, Stan, and any other south county folk. How about Oso and the 5 at the Chevron/76 @ 0630. Easy off and easy back on. Is everyone up for grabbing the toll road over?

Why would you want to drive all the way to Big Bear to run those trails on 37's? Thats lame. Mine as well keep heading over the mtn and run some real trails @ the hammers Mr. Testosterone :flipoff2:

Doesn't Taz have 37's??

Oh I get it........pick on the guy that doesn't have 3rd row seating and leather.

Ok, ok, I'll put the 35's back on just for this trip. I would consider 33's but I don't think I've run something that small since '92 or '93:flipoff2:

Honestly, I hope I can make the trip cuz I haven't wheeled with Cruisers for about 5 years. My wife is 8 months pregnant but she gave me the go-ahead. Now getting out of work is a different story. Maybe I can tell the higher ups that there are some complications with the pregnancy and we need to see a "specialist." That should get me outta work.

Slomo, I know you are jealous of my bling. Out on the trail it's all about the chrome!

If I can make it, I will probably just meet up at the firestation. 35's or 37's with the stock 4.11's makes for a slow ride up the mountains. You guys will probably pass me on your way up.

Hell i dont know what anyone has, i just saw your sig. lol

Speaking of 33's in 92... 37's are so 3 years ago. 54" boggers just came out get with the times brotha! lol

37's w/4.11's? Wtfd? You have a 504 bb in that thing? lol

only razzing you man!

Have fun, take pics! Cant play hookie here. :(

Bling is one thing I am most certainly not jealous of! :flipoff2: But the 37's, now that I might be a little jealous of. If you had an 80 you could get the new $1000 Slee front arms that just might be nickel plated. Seriously, Christo said it himself. He makes good stuff but wow that is alot of money for a blue collar guy like me.

I will be running 35's with 4.10's and could probably use the company. :D That would be a bit out of the way to skip the 15 for the 5. Hope to see you up there.

dbs311 - I take it you're still runnin' the 3FE... well at least your headgasket worries are low.

bring the 37's, the more the merrier.

Good point clownmidget, at least I have the 1FZ-FE's raw power. :flipoff2:

I just read your sig and man Stan you have been busy. Look forward to seeing it in action.

How do I make contact with you folks if I come up Sat afternoon Oct 7th or Sun Oct 8th? Do cell phones have reception up there? Probably not. I'd like to check out Holcomb, but John Bull might be a game time decision w/31" rubber.

You can run John Bull with 31's but I would have good rocker protection, not beat up running boards. :flipoff2: Last I ran Holcomb I had bald 32's and used the sliders a few times running it backwards starting at the rock garden. Totally doable.

I have the rig just about finished:bounce: , going to get budbuild skids (prototype looks great) and the ARB roof rack, still in preproduction, release in Jano7.

Sounds like she will be sweet.

It sounds like some of you will be meeting up and driving to Big Bear together. For those who are meeting up with the group at Big Bear, is the plan still the firestation at 8:30?

sigh....

do I really really have to read the 77 posts or could somebody nice and helpful summarize the plans (I'd want to go for more than 1 day and stay a night or 2...)? :)

summary, the way I see it.

Skim, and his group are going to hit trails (john bull?)on the 8th Sunday,(i do not know their plans)

Rfjtoy and the monday group are meeting in So orange county to drive up at 6:30 am Monday(OSO at 5frwy, chevron/76) and meeting up with others at the fawnskin firestation at 8:30am, Wheeling Holcomb Creek and another to be decided then.
