Great set of photos Chris. I'm like Sam. Sitting at work crying! Thanks for the effort in getting those up so quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed your trip thru the pics!

Chris, great photos and thanks for posting them . It was really nice to put some faces to screen names and to see the differently set up trucks - especially nice to see the FJ Cruisers on trails finally (a first for me). Those of you that missed the run should definitely check out Dishpan Springs, it was a nice change from the the John Bull/Holcomb Creek trails. It was also nice to have a 40, 62, 4 80's, and 4 FJC's on a trail at the same time - lots and lots of different lines and different solutions to getting over stuff.

This is how you pick a line.

um, yeah - that rock and I have some issues  40's!!! will do it...

story to go along with the pics:

that rock I high centered on is directly across the creek from the start of the trail, so it took me about 1 min from the start of the run to get stuck enough to need the only strap of the day. DBS311 was right in front of me so he snatched me off but as he did he noticed some nasty noise from his xfer case. Turned out he only had two bolts left holding his front drive shaft flange to the xfer output and both of those were bent with the nuts only on a couple of threads. Luckily Iverness and I had four bolts and nuts so he was able to get fixed up in under five minutes.

Great photos- Thanks

Brent,

You missed out on a good run! We ran Holcomb Creek and then some of us ran Dishpan. No real carnage but DBS311 almost did a head stand on Dishpan. Nerve wracking... Too tired to write a trail report now... Here is a link to a bunch of pics that I took:

Chris

Otis, thanks for all the help, spotting and the photos are a great :bounce: bonus. You're right, fun was had by all.:grinpimp:

Mike just couldn't resist that line could he....? Do I have to come back there and show you how to wheel that junk Mike?

You guys make me home sick, but I love to hear the stories.

Nice boulder humping - tread lightly????????

that's a well used attempted line, hence my double denial - no trail blazing. but thanks for the accusatory comment...

I added a few more photos from the end of Holcomb Creek trail and from Dishpan Springs trail...

Chris, thank you for shooting so many great pictures and getting them up. Sorry all I am a loser and didn't get any pictures since I left my camera on the counter at home.

I had a great time wheeling with and meeting many of you for the first time. Sorry I had to bug out on Dishpan but I had to make it home or else. :princess: 's orders, can't jeapordize the next trip after all. Look forward to the next one.

That is the only spot of dishpan I hate. My pig is so unstable that I have to take the high side and drop down the waterfall or place the passenger side against that rock. Last time I tried a very similar line as in that pic of the 60 and ended up on my side.
