Im going to be in big bear the 7th and 8th and have a pass for the 8th, i going to run hulcome and the jonh bull if you want in pm me. must have 33' one locker and sliders or no want for running boards.

hell Ian, after reading some of these threads on John Bull and Holcomb I thought you could get through them in a Subaru... ...or a FJC?

I'm still too jammed up to make it Sunday. Might be able to camp up there Sunday night and do the trails on Monday but that's the soonest.

Just wondering if my 4 runner w/ 32 muds and frt & rear locker would be able to make it through both holcomb and john bull? I will have sliders on too by that time. I want to test out the 4 runner after adding a few goodies. I have never been on John Bull or Holcomb.

Steve, you will be fine with that set up. Skim ran it with pretty much the same lift and tires and I know he didn't have sliders and I don't think he had any lockers.

How about cheesy 31" AT's? I've already trashed my running boards. The 3x factory lockers should help offset small tires and lack of lift? No biggie if not do-able, I'll wait until I can afford lift/slider/tire upgrades.

There is always a trail to run, you can make that decision when you get there. Are you planning on Oct. 9th?

ok for hulcome but not john bull... whats the Back spaking on your rims. is it 3.5 or 4.5 we could switch tire set ups for the day i run 34x9.5 they fit on most stockers, and my truck f/r arbs, 60:1 crawl, a smashed up rockers, and a smoth running 135f can hang on 30" i did it once but i have been to moab, rubicon, dusy, hammers, cailco, miller, you name it in socal
