Looks like the wind is blowing north west and so the fire is going that way. It is well to the east of our camp ground.

The fire is by Baldwin...

So far so good as far as where we are camping and the location of this fire.
 
Just found this thread. Bummer I didn't see it before, I'll be at Crab Flats the weekend after you guys with my 100. Next time...

Hey there party people, not a lot of time left, looking forward to this trip! Who's leading runs for Saturday, and are we doing one group run or having multiple options?

Has everyone signed up for potluck Saturday dinner? B'n'T @ BIG BEAR
 
I signed up for damn good beer.

Not sure about runs I won't have my goodies installed or locker working so will have to take that into account.

I was hoping to do runs that are easy to moderate. looking for more camp time than trail time.
 
White Mountain trail is close and can be a loop, easy then moderate. Have never done it personally. From there we could head east towards BB Lake or back to camp. Looks like fires are all contained however some trail closures we will want to keep tabs on.

Same here, besides I'll probably be extra busy trying to trap lobsters (for the mac & cheese) as they are few and far between in Big Bear Lake

Are you referring to Holcomb Creek Trail 3N93/2N06X? Should be open.
 
so I got a site for sat night, but we are thinking of coming up friday night, is there anyone whom has room for another vehicle in their site we could crash in on fri night if we decide to come up? thinking of coming up after traffic and getting dinner on the way with my daughter. We would prob not arrive till 8pm or so, thx!.....Noah

Don't know about site restrictions but you're welcome to share mine for the night site 25 Just checked 2 vehicles per site so you're good to go.
