TREKBOXX is in the HOUSE!!!

Who is local that wants to swing by and help me lift it in the truck? Maybe tomorrow?

Feel free to send me a PM--I can probably help you, I just have to go zero my elk rifle at some point in the afternoon up in The Colony

Keep that thing Zeroed! What if an Elk was walking down LBJ, you need to be prepared!

What are you shooting by the way? 06 is my preferred Elk gun.

.300 Win Mag--I actually drove all the way down to ETTS last week because it was a brand new rifle and the manufacturer wanted me to break it in a specific way which I needed to clean between groups and most ranges here wouldn't allow it. By the time I shot the required rounds for break in my shoulder was begging for mercy and I had to call it before I could even get it dialed in with the right ammo.

Sounds like me when I was getting my 338 Win Mag ready for Alaskan Moose hunt. Which got pushed due to covid, now set for next year. Oh well something to look forward to.

Aside from this being my build thread….here are a few shots of the continued install of the TrekBoxx. HSTexan, 18 Cruiser and TXCRSR were all kind enough to volunteer to help me out so hopefully we will get it fully installed tomorrow. Wings going on and man this thing is stout!

@BIC JET You aren't in Portland, Oregon right now are you? Just saw a rig, w/Texas plates, that looks like your in our Hotel parking lot.

Check his plate in the pic above. Personalized. Be a big missed connection to be in same hotel and not have a few pints.

Dang, It was a dealer plate.

Yep sorry, wouldn’t be in Portland right now.

Following. Sweet truck, dude. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on the ARB bumper myself. I assume you're happy with it?
