Not a big Conti/General fan either. KM2’s just look like they belong with or without caps, IMO.

What tire pressure are people running? I can’t seem to get my BFG’s to be flat - they have a crown on them (probably the 10.5” tire on a 5.5” wide OEM wheel).
I’m at 24-26

I've had KO's and now Grabber AT's (35" size) on my FJ60. The KO's wore like Iron. The grabbers are softer and grip better while wheeling but have only been on for about a year. Time will tell.

My KO2's are on a CC LB F350 diesel. They are wearing a LOT faster than I'd like. On a lighter FJ40 they will probably be just fine.

I've had a set of 33x10.5 KO2's on my '62 for a little over 10,500 miles (installed last October).

They are right at 12/32 remaining, out of 15/32 when new. Right about 3,500 miles per 1/32" of wear. At this rate I should expect at least 40k miles from them before they are at 3/32, but I am rotating in my spare too so closer to 50,000. (The two tires I spot checked for depth were one front and one rear that have been rotated one time and have not yet served as the spare).

I'm happy with them, no noise yet, never hydroplaned, and pretty good in snow. I'm thinking the treadlife will not equal the old KO, but these have yet to chip or tear anywhere, and they have been wheeled a few times.

OEM 15s that I clipped the clips.

I'm at something between 50,000 and 57,000....with worn centers from being over inflated on 5.5 inch wheels.
Centers are around 4/32 outside edges a fair bit better... putting two news tires on the rear friday.
