Time to trade wife’s 2010 LX. No problems but it’s our main family vehicle and want something newer for long trips. Looked at a new LX but it’s a bit more than we can do right now. What are the best deals you all getting on new 2019s without military, etc discount? I thought there was a sticky thread on this but couldn’t find it. In 2016 I was able to pick up a new 200 for just under $69k. Currently nobody’s budging under $78k. Anyone with better luck?

Paid $82k OTD for a new 2019 LX with all options but cooler and rear monitors in late April. Sticker was $98k. There are deals to be had. It was even the easiest negotiation I’ve done on a vehicle.

So a LX may be attainable if you really liked it. I wasn’t even sure I would go LX because I’ve already owned a 200LC before. Thought I would go back, but I simply couldn’t with the interior upgrades in the LX and having the price so close.

Shop further away. I was offered cheap before by a dealer in Texas that had 3 on the lot.

On Autotrader there is currently one that lists for $75,200 at Family Toyota of Burleson. Might check it out. Seems pretty wild.
It has 8,500 miles on the odometer. I purchased my 2016 with ~7,000 miles on it for $10k less though the car was about 1.75 years old at the time.

We bought a new LX, 17’ with 7 miles on it about 4 months ago. Paid 73k. White with cooler and dvd. We just emailed all the dealers with new 17’s and went with the cheapest option. Paid around 800 to have it shipped. Used a mud members company to do so.

Paid 78 for my 18 ordered from the factory in Aug of 17 and got it in Nov. Used the Costco buying program which includes 50% off 500 in extras post delivery. Used that discount for the front spacers and install plus some other trinkets.

First things I did was get the windows tinted (a must in the southwest), a dash mat which really cut down on glare I didn't know was there and bought a road hazard warranty from discount tire since new cars don't come with them.

Thank you all for your responses. Went through dealer in TN, where I bought my 2016. They got us under 78k and gave us a fair price on the LX (I did my research and knew what was reasonable). Worked hard to get the APR we needed as well. We were sad to see the LX go but welcome the new addition.
