Caster correctionMy 80 Series is currently on OEM springs and shocks. I plan to upgrade aiming for a 2.5-inch lift in the front and a 3-inch lift in the rear to compensate for additional weight when the back is loaded. This setup should allow the vehicle to sit level under load. I also plan to install 4-inch IMS shocks in both the front and rear. with 35's of course. Keep in mind that I want this setup to absorb speed bumps and potholes smoothly for maximum ride comfort, while still being capable of handling articulation and off-road flex. I also plan to add a winch, steel front and rear bumpers, and a roof rack, but that will come later on. I’d appreciate any feedback on this setup. I understand that if I go through with this lift, there will be additional work needed to ensure the vehicle drives and handles properly. What supporting modifications or adjustments should I consider to make sure it performs and corners safely after the lift?
Here are the shocks and springs in mind:
Coil Springs:
Dobinsons C97-146VT - front, C59-613V Flexi - rear
Shocks:
Dobinson Front IMS45-60912 - 4" Long Travel Monotube Shocks (670/395)
Dobinson Rear IMS59-60687 - 4" Long Travel IMS Rear Monotube Shocks (680/421)
Thanks for all the detailed info, really appreciate it! That clears up a lot. I’ll definitely reach out to Exit Offroad and see what they recommend for my setup.Caster correction

Adjustable lower control arms (many opt this after lift)
Many experience no casters corrections if under 3" lift. (2.5" for sure)
FYI. A 3" lift will net you more than 3"-especially unloaded, even after settling.
Your set up doesn't require long travel IMS. A 0-3" IMS is good.
Reach out to Exit offroad and they can professionally set you up with the perfect combo.
Hope that helps....Good luck on your build.
