I am replacing the brakes on my 100 with slotted and drilled ceramics. I can't do a series of 60-5MPH stops on I-285 or public roads safely while bedding the brakes. Does anybody know of a parking lot or closed road that will allow me to do so? I'm sure you all know Land Cruisers aren't very fast (even the 100's are slooooow), so I will need a large runway. I have contacted local freight yards and shipping hubs as they generally have 1/4 mile parking lots, but nobody knows if I can actually I perform the process, it ends up in a "you can call this person" and I never get a response. I don't think "I was bedding my brakes" is a good excuse for slamming on the brakes on a public road and causing a pile up...

Does anybody have a 54mm socket and would like to assist? I will provide the beverages and food if needed. I have never done brake work so I am a little intimidated, especially when it comes to a 7,000lb truck.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

We don't bed brakes. Normal driving should bed them in just fine. Just no 70+ to zero rapid stops please. :D
